LONELY LADY

I wrote this song many years ago.  I had gone through a tough time, but God as he always does has taken me through and brought me out in victory.
I found a poem I had written and to be honest it was very depressing.  I prayed and asked the Lord to help me "finish" the poem, and He gave it to me in a song.... this song
I will add guitar chords later

LONELY LADY

1.
She goes around spreading joy to everyone she meets
Making sure she gives a smile to everyone she greet
But look deep into her eyes, you'll see her hidden fears
Lay your hand upon her pillow you'll find it wet with tears
And no one knows the fears that are inside of her
No one knows the pain she's going through
They see her smile not knowing that inside of her
Lies a heart that's broken and abused

CHORUS
Lonely lady, hear your Father, He's calling you
Telling you He loves you and He's there
Let His healing power now flow over you
Take his hand and see how much he cares

2.
Slowly she looks up to God, who's calling her by name
Telling her He'll take her fears and heal her deepest pain
And trembling she reaches up and takes hold of His hand
crying "Lord, I can't go on" and He whispers "Yes you can"
And heals the scars she's had for so many years
And a joy begins to bubble in her soul
And He reaches down and wipes away her falling tears
And now the smile she wears is something she can't controle

This became my most requested song when ever I was asked to sing, and a song I sang at almost every women's group I visited.  Eventually I was asked if I could write it in Spanish.  I tried but the words just never seem to fit right.
Then one day God just seem to touch my mind and give me His anointing and within about 20 minutes I had the entire song translated into Spanish.  Please excuse any and all my misspelled words... please feel free to post corrections as I do want the words spelled right.

HIJA DE SOLEDAD

1.

When I was 13 years old I started singing.  I knew it was a calling of God, but did not think it was such an important calling compared to preaching, teaching... etc   but none the less I said "God u gave me my voice.. you can help me learn to sing for you"  God took my voice, added His anointing.. and added the ability to play guitar... again I said to the Lord, "You created my mind and I know you will help me learn to play for you"  God took my hands and poured his anointing for me to play the guitar.... then God began to open doors for me to minister...   at first I ministered with my own ability.... relying on my own talent, not giving God the credit for His anointing on my life... I became pridefull, thinking myself to be just a little more special than other's who were "not" in ministry.

One day as I was lying in the hospital after spinal surgery to correct severe scholiosis.  God spoke to me and said.. "When you are real thirsty, and you come into your kitchen and get a glass from the cabinet, do you say to yourself.. "I am no longer thirsty?    I said.. no, not till I drink the water..  God said... "YOU are the glass... "I" am the WATER....   that message changed me forever and changed my ministry in music.

It is God who flows through us and it is His spirit that touches hearts and lives.  We are but vessels.. HE IS THE WATER that flows to a dry and thirsty land.   No matter what your ministry is.. whether it is up on stage in front of every one, or in a place where no one sees what you are doing.. HOLD It HOLY... in your heart, in your attitude

Here you will find songs I've written and how they came a bout.  I will try to post lyrics and  chords with each post.  some songs are not my original songs, but are songs that I sing when I minister
